What makes this solution stand out is its eco-friendly composition and complete recyclability, creating a "circular foundation”.

The Green Team - Two Eco Products Unite
Introducing the revolutionary collaboration of two sustainable products: CLEVA POD® and Firth EcoMix®, a combination that is the first of its kind in the industry for slab foundation pouring.
CLEVA POD® is a patented forming system made from recycled plastics, presenting an environmentally conscious and cost-effective alternative to conventional options like polystyrene raft waffle pod.
Enhancing this innovation is Firth's EcoMix®, a low-carbon concrete renowned for its superior quality. The product not only meets high-quality standards but also significantly lowers embodied carbon. With EcoMix®, carbon intensity can be slashed by up to 40%, while EcoMix®+ achieves a reduction of over 50% against the ISC 2020 Embodied Carbon (EC) baseline for ready-mix concrete.
Together, the synergy of CLEVA POD® and Firth EcoMix® creates a "circular foundation" solution – a New Zealand-first achievement in sustainable construction.

About CLEVA POD®
Proudly New Zealand-made, CLEVA POD® is a traditional waffle pod floor made from recycled and waste plastic, delivering a “circular foundation”, protecting the environment, and supporting sustainable construction.
User friendly: Lightweight and quick to install.
Save on freight: The pods required for a standard 200m house, can be delivered on two to three pallets on a double axle trailer.
Stability flange: Provides a stable surface for the spacer to sit upon and prevents puncturing of the membrane below.
Save on space: A 40-foot container would contain enough CLEVA POD® for 10-12 average-sized homes.
Removable end caps: Can be cut on any angle or shape to fit any foundation configuration.
Zero landfill waste: The complete CLEVA POD® system components are manufactured from recycled plastic and are fully recoverable and recyclable.
